A cherished annual gathering of devotion & fellowship
Our journey
For nearly two decades, Satsang UK has come together each year to celebrate the life and message of Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra. What began as a small circle of devotees has grown into a national congregation that welcomes families, friends, and seekers from every corner of the United Kingdom.
Each congregation is a day of prayer, music, learning, seva (selfless service) and shared prasad — a living expression of the ideal of “Be and Make”: to grow in character ourselves and to help others grow.
Theme of the 19th Congregation
This year we reflect on “Being and Becoming” — Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra’s philosophy of human excellence and sustainable living. Through congregation, symposium, and cultural programme, we explore how timeless spiritual principles can guide a purposeful, balanced and service-minded life today.
Love ye one another. Be and make — grow yourself, and help everyone around you to grow.

About Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra
Sree Sree Thakur Anukulchandra (1888–1969) was a revered spiritual teacher and the founder of the Satsang movement. Born on 14th September 1888 at Himaitpur, Pabna (in present-day Bangladesh), he devoted his life to awakening the divine potential within every person.
A healer by training and a seer by nature, his teachings blend timeless spiritual wisdom with practical guidance for daily living — centred on his message of “Be and Make”: to grow in character oneself, and to help others grow. He inspired countless followers towards a life of love, selfless service (seva), self-reliance, and devotion to the ideal.
Today, Satsang centres across the world — including here in the United Kingdom — carry forward his message of universal love, fellowship and human excellence. This congregation joyfully celebrates his life and the living relevance of his vision.

Collaboration with Sutton Tree Wardens
A voluntary tree-plantation organisation
Tree plantation has long been close to the heart of Pujyapad Acharyadev — from the tree-plantation campaign held in his honour on Reverend Abinda's last birthday, to the ongoing work of Satsang volunteers today. This year we're delighted to welcome the Sutton Tree Wardens to our Utsav. They'll be sharing leaflets and information about their work and upcoming projects, and Satsang volunteers are warmly invited to visit their table on the day to learn more and enrol in tree-plantation activities.
